Website redesign and the implementation of internet marketing techniques has produced a substantial increase in bookings from the lodge’s key target market, with over 50% of internet-initiated inquiries from this market resulting in completed bookings. Overall revenues have increased by over 20%. Deb is responsible for the ongoing content management of the website and continues to support the implementation of key aspects of the marketing plan.

• Deb acted as the manager of Marketing Services for Mustang Survival. In this role, she was responsible for the development, marketing and promotion of dozens of highly technical marine safety garments in a complex R&D environment. Deb managed the final phases of the development and implementation of a strategic new product line, coordinated a strategic sales initiative to obtain official supplier status with a key customer, and oversaw the production of the annual product catalogs.

• Deb led the redesign and implementation of the TELUS Learning Services intranet website, including implementation of an automated interface with the corporate SAP system. Deb wrote the copy for the updated site and designed a new interface for the online registration system. The updated site resulted in significantly reduced telephone inquiries coupled with a substantial increase in website visits and over 90% online course registrations. Subsequently, Deb managed TELUS’s PMP-certified project management training program, resulting in improved relations with key client groups, better alignment of course schedules with student needs, increased registration and improved cost-effectiveness.
