Lloyd has over 35 years of diversified experience in information technology. His particular areas of specialty include business analysis, application systems analysis / design and data analysis. Lloyd’s comment about himself:

Here are some recent examples of Lloyd’s work:

• Business analyst, lead systems designer and development team leader for the creation of the Child Protection System for the Ministry of Children and Family Development – still the primary data base supporting child welfare in the Province after more than 10 years. Lloyd is still involved, on an on-going basis, with the analysis and design of enhancements to the application

• Business analyst and systems designer for an automated interface between MCFD’s Child Protection System and client case management systems in use at agencies delegated to carry out child protection work. The interface is being developed with current technologies using web services

• Business analyst and lead systems designer of the Sponsorship Receivables Collection system for the Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance. The main challenge was to satisfy complex legal requirements for debt calculation and match to the limitations of historical data in a large legacy system. Success was measured by the significant portion of long outstanding debt that was collected

• Lead systems designer and development team leader for a complex Group Life, Accident and Sickness Insurance system for Seaboard Life Insurance. This project provided valuable experience in the problems of communicating complex business requirements to an off-shore development team
