Lynn has experience in both classroom delivery and e-learning. She has
developed particular skills in working with a train-the-trainer model to enable
clients with large audiences or geographically diverse audiences to receive
effective instruction from their own local staff.
These are some recent examples of Lynn’s work:
• Developed a suite of over 40 e-learning modules in support of Workers’
Compensation Board (WCB) of BC’s Legislative Implementation project. Trained
local coaches and provided them with materials to effectively reach an audience
of over 1,000 across British Columbia. This highly successful training enabled
WCB staff to maintain uninterrupted service when two key operational systems
were upgraded to support the new legislation.
• Developed training in support of the Insurance Corporation of British
Columbia’s (ICBC’s) Roadside Plus product. Led a team of ten in the rapid
creation and delivery of the program which ultimately trained over 3000 staff
and Autoplan Brokers. The quality of the training was recognized as a key
factor in the success of the product that exceeded its sales projections within
the first three months.
• Managed the implementation of a Certification Program for corporate sales and
business partners for the technology firm Tri-Link Technologies. This involved
conducting extensive front-end needs and learning analysis to enable the
implementation of business process change through training.
