Sandy Logan
Sandy has over 30 years of experience in the Community and Social Services
Sector. His knowledge is grounded in his practical experience as a Financial
Assistance Worker and Supervisor with the Ministry of Children and Family
Development (MCFD). His experience includes over ten years working with systems
in government, culminating in his position as Director of Information Systems
for MCFD.
Sandy was a Project Executive with IBM Canada for eight years with
responsibilities for business development and management consulting in the
Human Services Practice.
Over the course of his career, Sandy has established himself as a recognized
expert in the application of technology in the Community and Social Services
field. Under his guidance, the child and family ministries implemented
automation for income assistance, child protection, family support services,
and contract management. During the last eight years, Sandy has consulted
across Canada and internationally in topics related to the application of to
Human Services, bringing an experienced, pragmatic understanding to a very
complex subject.
