E-Commerce Implementation and Site Management
Led the successful development of the award winning website www.mec.ca for Mountain Equipment Co-op. The site exceeded its sales targets in the first nine months while effectively communicating the values and brand of Mountain Equipment Co-op. Gateway subsequently managed the process of translating the site into French.
Aboriginal Information Sharing
Managed a five year project to enable Aboriginal Family and Child Services Agencies across BC to work with the Ministry of Children and Family Development's child protection systems, comply with Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy legislation and effectively manage their physical records. The work enabled dozens of agencies to start providing services to their communities.
Intranet Site Development and Deployment
Gateway worked with two different clients managing the requirements analysis, development and deployment of intranet sites that significantly improved access to organizational knowledge and built a stronger staff community.
Child Protection System Development
Gateway provided the project manager, programming team leader and test team leader for the four year development and implementation of a client case management system for the Ministry of Children and Family Development . The system was recognized by the Assistant Deputy Minister as a remarkable achievement, and continues to be one of the key operational systems in use at the Ministry.
